Our current project

EcoArt is developing work with artists to creatively respond to the COP26 summit in Glasgow

‘Land’ is a dramatic, artist-led intervention project beginning at COP 26. Using creativity, hospitality and imagination it will explore the links between land use, food production and climate change with the COP26 audience.

What is it?

We will bring the tallship, La Malouine, an 80ft LOD. Brigantine based in the Solway Firth, up the River Clyde into the heart of Glasgow and moor in the Green Zone for the duration of the COP talks.

This is the first iteration of LAND. There will be a creative and experimental program of events designed to engage our audiences as participants, giving them a voice in the search for a viable future for humanity and the planet.

Why should join in?

Land aims to:

  • Welcome participation; join in the conversation to explore alternative ways of being as we search for a viable future for humanity and the planet.
  • Host performance & exhibition spaces to explore above and below deck
  • Show especially commissioned environmental artworks to interact with
  • Share awesome video installation art after dark
  • Bring Food Art performance events

When and where is it?
