Eco Crafters Social

Regular get together to explore the creative potential of nature, local waste and donated items to become fashion, art, crafts and sustainable alternatives to new items. Bring your own craft project to work on or we can give you something to make that can be sold to raise funds

We are starting with Slow Stitching led by local artist Sally Salmon. This is a therapeutic and fun social, no need to be a stitcher or embroiderer, simple hand stitching is used along with Bora and Sashiko techniques. We will be making our own scrap constructed fabric for use as patches. If you’d prefer not to stitch, that’s ok, there’s always haberdashery that needs sorting.

Dates. 2nd and 3rd Thursday of the month. 1.30-3.00pm

By donation £5-10 on the day. Drop in to join in.
