Nithraid

EcoArt has produced and co-funded the annual Nithraid River Festival since 2024. The festival and boat race celebrates our relationship with the River Nith and is a participatory fun-filled afternoon for all the family. Each year, colourful processions carry the iconic Salty Coo from Dumfries High Street down to the River, and the EcoArt LAND flags fly along the suspension bridge for the duration of the event.
