Moving Images Cinema Caravan is a self contained cinema traveling around the South of Scotland and beyond, screening cutting edge, non-mainstream films to rural and urban communities, schools, youth groups and festivals.
The Caravan has screened animations and short films with themes of inclusion, grass roots activism, climate justice and community growing and home grown films. The solar powered cinema caravan has attracted people from all backgrounds and ages.
EcoArt supported Moving Images Cinema Caravan to attend PLENTY a festival of More and Less held at the Barn, Banchory, Scotland from 22-23 October 2022. Films were shown that highlighted seaweed harvesting in northern Scotland; questions and thoughts about solitude and Ukrainian rituals to remedy ecological anxieties.
